Getting Started with LanMarkXT

Quick Start

LanMarkXT Quick Start Guide should have you testing in less than five minutes!

Step 1: Install LanMarkXT on at least two computers, use the same Registration Key for all installations.

Step 2: On the PC you will be using as the Console, right click the LanMarkXT Icon and "Show Console". You should have the Console screen as seen below:

Step 3: Your "From:" Box should have your local Consoles IP and name in it. If you want your local PC to participate in the testing, leave this alone. If you would like your Console to NOT participate in the testing, you can select another Node in the From Box (You will need at least three installed Nodes for this option).

Step 4: Select a destination Node in your "To:" Box. If you want to test from the "From:" Node to All of your other Nodes select "All Nodes" from the "To:" Box. If you want to test with more than one Node, but not all Nodes, select Multiple Nodes in your "To:" box, and then drag and drop nodes from the lower list of nodes to the upper box, in the lower left tab on your Console screen.

Step 5: Select a Package from the list on the left, and right click add, or drag-and-drop it into the top box. Add as many Packages as you would like. The list could be hidden if the Packages Tab is not selected.

Step 6: Select the number of Test Interations from the "Number of Tests" box in the tool bar. This will be the number of times it executes the test Packages you have added.

Step 7: Press Start in the Tool Bar and your testing will commence.
